The 2015 PROMISE Fall Harvest Dinner for graduate students and postdocs at schools within the University System of Maryland will be held Friday, November 20, 2015, at 5:30 PM. (Time change from 5:00)

This dinner will allow you to connect with graduate students and postdocs who are in your field, allowing you to build collaborative relationships, connections, and expand your network. You may bring a guest to this event. PROMISE wants you to include your support network in events.
This event is free.
This event will include a short program with a welcome from the hosts at College Park, and some highlights from the recent SREB Institute on Teaching & Mentoring/Compact for Faculty Diversity.

BUS TRANSPORTATION:
A bus will depart from the Commons Circle Drive (the front of Commons Circle) on UMBC’s campus heading to College Park at 5:00 PM on Friday, Nov. 20, 2015. The bus will leave College Park at 8:00 PM to return to UMBC.
If you would like to ride the bus, please send email to promisestaff@gmail.com, with the subject “Bus for Fall Harvest 2015.” Your email must include the following:
1) Name
2) Academic Department (no abbreviations)
3) School or College (e.g., School of Natural and Mathematical Sciences)
4) Name of your university
5) Name of your Graduate School Dean
6) Your Eventbrite Ticket # (Order #, from your confirmation email, also printed on the ticket that was attached to your confirmation email.)
Once you send the email I will send an email confirming your seat on the bus.

Take I-95 South to Washington, D.C.’s Capital Beltway (I-495).
Take Exit 27 and then follow signs to Exit 25 (U.S. 1 South toward College Park).
Proceed approximately two miles south on U.S. Route 1.
Turn right into Visitor Center parking area.
From Virginia and Points South
Take I-95 North to Washington, D.C.’s Capital Beltway (I-495).
Continue North on I-95/I-495 toward Baltimore.
Take Exit 25 (U.S. 1 South toward College Park).
Proceed approximately two miles south on U.S. Route 1.
Turn right into Visitor Center parking area.
From Virginia and Points West
Take I-66 East or I-270 South to Washington, D.C.’s Capital Beltway (I-495).
Go East on I-495 toward Baltimore/Silver Spring.
Take Exit 25 (U.S. 1 South toward College Park).
Proceed approximately two miles south on U.S. Route 1.
Turn right into Visitor Center parking area.
From Annapolis and Points East
Take U.S. 50 to Washington, D.C.’s Capital Beltway (I-495).
Go North on I-95/I-495 toward Baltimore.
Take Exit 25 (U.S. 1 South toward College Park).
Proceed approximately two miles south on U.S. Route 1.
Turn right into Visitor Center parking area.
From Washington, D.C. (Northwest/Southwest)
Take 16th St. North which becomes Georgia Ave. North at Maryland/D.C. line.
Go East on I-495 toward Baltimore.
Take Exit 25 (U.S. 1 South toward College Park).
Proceed approximately two miles south on U.S. Route 1.
Turn right into Visitor Center parking area.
From Washington, D.C. (Northeast/Southeast)
Take Rhode Island Ave. (U.S. 1 North) which becomes Baltimore Ave. North at Maryland/D.C. line.
Proceed through the city of College Park.
Turn left at Rossborough Lane into Visitor Center parking area.
