UMBC received a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to strengthen the culture of career-life balance (CLB) on campuses. The program, “On Ramps” to Full Professor: Institutional Support for Post-Family Leave Faculty Research Reintegration, NSF Grant #1446406 (July 1, 2014 – June 30, 2016), includes a component to provide seminars and workshops for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. The PROMISE AGEP, the Graduate School at UMBC, and UMBC’s Office of Postdoctoral Affairs collaborate with the CLB initiative. Graduate students and postdocs from the institutions within the University System of Maryland are welcome to attend all workshops.
