Career Summary
Jennifer Joyner is the economics coordinator and an assistant professor at the Community College of Baltimore County. She is an avid proponent of financial literacy having hosted local and regional personal finance expo’s for the Community College of Baltimore County more than five years. As co-director of the Institute of Social and Economic Justice for the Community College of Baltimore County, it is her mission to disseminate interdisciplinary knowledge about social and economic inequalities. The ISEJ empowers students, faculty, and staff to explore theoretical applications of social and economic justice via a variety of courses, symposia, workshops, and community outreach opportunities. Her community involvement also includes the Workforce Development committee of the Greater Chesapeake Chamber of Commerce, as well as club advisor to several student organizations including Kappa Beta Delta (Business Honor Society).
