The 2015 PROMISE Summer Success Institute (SSI), #ThinkBigDiversity, will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with a pre-conference Dissertation House session on Thursday & Friday, August 13 – 14, 2015, and a Friday night August 14 “Sisters in the Dissertation House” Book Discussion, all at the Hotel at Arundel Preserve in Hanover, Maryland. This conference (business attire) provides professional development for new/incoming graduate students, continuing graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, early-career professors, and professionals in the region.

    The 2015 PROMISE SSI will include a “Hackathon” of Ideas called #ThinkBigDiversity

    This will be the second #ThinkBigDiversity session. The first one was held in Colorado, June 2015 as part of the ADVANCE Hispanic Women in STEM project with PROMISE Director, Dr. Renetta Tull, Dr. Autumn Reed (UMBC – Faculty Diversity), and former PROMISE SSI Mentors Dr. Patti Ordóñez, Dr. Cristina Pomales, and Dr. Beatriz Zayas. https://hispanicstemwomen.wordpress.com/think-big/
